About Our Chairman

Chadive, Haranath Reddy was born in Vayalpadu, Chittore District A.P into an agriculture family. He moved to Nellore for his high school education and lived in various places afterwards. After his graduation from V.R. College in 1980, he moved to Hyderabad's Central University for his Post Graduate studies in Mathematics and Computer Science. After completing his Masters, he started a career as a lecturer in Mathematics at different colleges in Hyderabad. In 1985, under the guidance of his cousin K.A.S.Reddy, Mr. Chadive moved into the computer field and joined CMC Limited. With his friends' help, he moved to U.S.A in 1989 for software development opportunities and settled near Washington D.C. Mr. Chadive held different positions such as University General secretary, head of different Indian organizations, company president, CEO, etc. In addition to Software Consultancy, he is interested in teaching Mathematics, studying philosophy, and practicing Yoga. Mr. Chadive is true believer of "Dream High Be Good Work Hard" to become successful in life.

About Our College

The GEETHANJALI Institute of PG Studies (GIPS) is established in the year 2002 by Siva Srivasa Educational Society.The society started in the year 1997 with noble ideas.This society is renounced for quality in Education and is already running a degree college. Most of the members in the society are IT professionals and NRIs having several years of industrial experience. They can understand the present field, as well as expect future necessity as they deal with several young professionals upcoming today. They can pull out the areas where they are lacking in. They give valuable suggestions to our respective college and we often implement them. This enables ourselves to upgrade the teaching methods.

The basic aim of starting this college is to give education with state of art technology and international exposure.  As our motto ‘Action Today Destiny Tomorrow’ states we always concentrate at tomorrow’s destiny so that action today gets enriched.

The college has proven its excellency within a short period of time.  The college gained good recognition and students felt proud to say ‘we are from GIPS’.  As the whole, we aspire reputation of GIPS to be known otherwise as ‘Glittering Institute of Pearl-like Students’.

Training Methodology

With highly balanced and planned curricular and extracurricular activities, every student at GIPS can successfully lead his/her career with regular seminars and exhibitions in the college by IT intellectuals and NRIs, the students get ample exposure to IT industry and international standards. The management irrespective of revenue, employs lecturers who are experts and recognized to be topmost in dealing the subject. With properly planned academic schedules by the academicians, students are always trained to acquire in depth knowledge regarding the subject in current semester, which automatically allows them to secure good marks. Materials are provided for certain topics, which give detailed explanation elevating certain important points. These help a student to easily understand the concept and grasp the content.

Besides study students are allowed to participate in giving seminars, group discussions and personality development classes to improve positive attitude, confidence, leadership qualities and communication skills. The college is running three clubs namely Information Club, English Club and Sports Club, which enable students to enhance their knowledge in current affairs.  Every club has its representatives who are responsible to collect information and share among their classmates.  Information Club keeps track of newly evolving technologies in the IT industry, English Club improves spoken English and exclusively Sports Club entertains students to play indoor and outdoor games.Once in a month there happens a ‘Quiz contest’ organized by faculty of college.

In addition to the above-mentioned, mock interviews are conducted to all students to make them ready to face interviews at Multi-National Companies.

The College takes interest in Visiting Professors across the Universities. They give lectures and suggestions – how to write examinations, how to score good percentage etc., Not only Professors famous IT personalities and NRIs frequently visit our college.They communicate with students, to let them know about latest developments in the world, the present trend in software field, the demand area and so students can clarify their doubts regarding employment abroad, students can have details about life at overseas – the work they do, the pay they get, the comfort they feel and all the guest lectures sometimes serve as career guidance class where students can comfortably plan their future.

• The computer lab is fully equipped with state of art technology computers and spacious to accommodate as many as 60 students.
• The seminar halls are outfitted with overhead projectors and are well furnished with audio system.
• With pleasant and peaceful atmosphere our college is little away from the noise of town.
• This college is second nearest from the town and is located between Narayana Engineering college and Medical college at Muthukur Road (about 3.5 KMs from VR College) transportation is easy as the frequency of buses and autos is high.
• Sports club facilitated with indoor and outdoor games.
• Art club to enhance the interest of students in fine arts and to conduct cultural programmes.
